ABOUT THE ROLE
Based in the head office, the Customer Service Representative - Freight Forwarding is a hybrid position working 3 days in the CBD office and 2 days from home. Previous experience in Customer Service or Operations within International Freight Forwarding is imperative. You will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts nationally, working closely with your clients and internal departments, as well as our overseas agents, to ensure the smooth execution of freight movements.

DUTIES
• Work with overseas agents, shipping and airline contacts to ensure bookings are placed
• Ensure all movements are DIFOT through strong reporting structures and procedures
• Provide daily status reports and troubleshoot potential issues to major accounts
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure minimal delays
• Maintain and service a portfolio of accounts nationally

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 years experience in a freight forwarding Customer Service or Import Operations role
• Understand end to end import/export freight forwarder process
• Professional appearance and approach to the workday
• Demonstrated ability to explain current internal and external relationships
• Strong computer literacy (Expedient, Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
