Senior Hand Therapist (OT or Physio) – Berwick & South East Melbourne

Looking for a hand therapist role that involves a busy and interesting caseload, mentoring junior therapists, and working as part of a friendly and supportive team? Re-Wired Hand Therapy & Nerve Recovery is seeking a skilled clinician to join our team, with some work at Bay Hand Therapy as required.

The Role
At Re-wired Hand Therapy, we’re growing and looking for a confident and passionate Senior Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) to join our exciting team. You’ll be primarily based at our south eastern clinics in Berwick and Dandenong, with capacity and flexibility to work across different sites such as our satellite post-op hospital clinics.
We’re after someone who’s comfortable working independently, has experience mentoring junior clinicians, and thrives on the challenge of treating everything from volar plate avulsions to brachial plexus injuries.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing your own diverse caseload, ranging simple and complex upper limb conditions.
Mentoring and supporting junior and new graduate therapists.
Sharing the lead of service delivery at our south eastern clinics.
Contributing to internal PD, supervision, and clinical discussions.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with surgeons, referrers, and stakeholders.
Helping shape a growing, well-respected hand therapy service.

What we’re looking for:
Required:
AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
3-4 years of post-graduate clinical experience in hand therapy
Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Experience working independently and mentoring junior staff
Strong clinical, interpersonal and leadership skills
Desired:
AHTA/CHT Accreditation (or working towards it)
Experience leading satellite clinics or hospital-based hand therapy services
A strong professional network and confidence liaising with medical specialists
