An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist (OT) Senior - Rehabilitation, to work as a part of the OT team in a high functioning rehabilitation unit. The rehabilitation unit is a specialist physician led service including the following areas of clinical impairment: acute head injuries, multi-trauma, neurological conditions, neurodegenerative disease, amputations, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Deliver independent high level Occupational Therapy clinical practice with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision. Exercise professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence.
• Provide high level clinical advice, education and influence towards a common patient-centred vision and direction to professional operational teams and relevant stakeholders regarding service delivery.
• Provide leadership oversight and clinical practice supervision to less experienced [discipline] practitioners and students as delegated.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $94,415 p.a., comprising salary rates: $64.64- $69.55 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Fixed term temporary position available for six months, 45.6hrs p.f.).
