We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to take on our Community Clinician role located within our Mitcham office for a Maternity leave contract.
The Community Clinician is a Registered Nurse, responsible for overseeing and delivery of high-quality clinical care services - providing clinical leadership, advice, coordination, to ensure the safety and quality of services to our consumers.
The role is accountable for operating within the Alliance Australia Clinical Governance Framework and ensuring staff carry out their clinical care duties within their scope of practice and according to registration standards as set down by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Alliance Community provides care and support services to people with a range of physical, behavioural and intellectual disabilities or age-related needs who reside in, and access, their community. Care and support services are provided across multiple funding streams.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing and delivery of high-quality clinical care services (developing/updating care plans)
Providing clinical leadership and advice to consumers (clinical review and care team meetings)
Ensure the safety and quality of services are provided by on hire staff (education and clinical oversight)
Incident reporting inline with regulatory body and company standards
Working with the broader in office team to problem solve for rostering and funding concerns
Qualifications/Experience required:
Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with no limitations (Mandatory)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Working with Children Check
At least 3 years’ experience in working with NDIS participants, older Australians, and community care settings and /or other healthcare related services.
Current Victorian Driver's License
Own Vehicle & Full Comprehensive car insurance
Current National police check
Current CPR Certificate
Start Date: Immediate
End Date: Mid December 2025
Hours: Monday to Friday (8AM - 4PM or can be negotiated to suit your lifestyle)
Pay Rate: Casual/Dependent on level of experience.
Office: Located in Mitcham, With some flexibility to work from home as well.
