About you

As a compassionate natured individual, your passionate about caring for our seniors. You will enjoy taking time to build relationships with our residents and getting to know them in order to provide the best possible care. You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your fellow team members.

Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support;
  • Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care;
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7-day week;
  • Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain.

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for Qualified Personal Care Workers to be part of a compassionate and professional team at our Bribie Island Aged Care Service. If you take pride in providing exceptional care, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

In this role, you’ll support residents over a variety of shifts, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while respecting their individual physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs.

In this varied role, your day-to-day tasks may include:

  • Participating in the development and review of resident/client care plans, including completing charting and reporting any observed changes of a resident's health to the Registered Nurse;
  • Undertaking and completing a number of different tasks, as delegated by the Registered Nurse;
  • Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensuring that all interactions are treated confidentially;
  • Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment.
