Gratis Home Care has an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to become part of our team caring for older people in their own homes.

Key responsibilities

Conducting clinical assessments including the initial assessment/onboarding of new clients.

Developing and reviewing support plans to enable the delivery of quality client care based on clinical assessment.

Delivering direct clinical care to clients such as wound care, diabetic management, medication administration and catheter changes.

Providing advice to Care Managers in the ongoing clinical needs and management of clients.

About you

Full, unrestricted, AHPRA registration.

General nursing experience caring for the elderly either in a hospital or a community setting.

National Police Clearance.

A passion for caring for people and delivering a high standard of care.

Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Experience using administrative office systems - MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

A reliable vehicle, current Australian drivers license, car registration and comprehensive insurance. Please note, Gratis Home Care has work cars available for nursing staff to book and use for client visits.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to work and communicate effectively with consumers, their families, community agencies and other professionals.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
