About the Role

Are you a creative superstar? Can you bring ideas to life and create content that truly connects and builds real connections?

If you live for storytelling, jumping on trends, filming viral Reels that stop the scroll, are confident on camera - this is your chance to join Ailana Beauty and shape our social voice.

We’re on the lookout for a creative and confident Content Creator / Social Media Coordinator to become the face and voice of Ailana Beauty on Instagram and TikTok. This is a permanent part-time role (3 days/week) based in our Caloundra West HQ.

You will be an experienced and highly knowledgeable individual who will effectively and confidently create new ideas and implement them. You’ll work closely with our founder and create scroll-stopping content, share tutorials, tell real stories, and help us build a deeper connection with our community.

What You'll Be Doing

Be the face and voice of Ailana Beauty across social content — from tutorials to GRWMs to trend-led Reels

Plan, shoot, edit, and publish content across Instagram and TikTok using tools like CapCut, Canva, and iPhone

Develop and contribute to an organic content strategy that drives follower growth, community engagement, and sales

Build and manage a clear and consistent social content calendar

Spot trends early and bring fresh, fun ideas to the table each week

Stay organised and on schedule while juggling multiple projects

Track and report on content performance, engagement, and reach

What We're Looking For:

1+ years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing

Comfortable and love getting in front of the camera with great energy

Skilled in short-form video editing (CapCut or similar) and visual storytelling

Passionate about the beauty industry, socials and current trends

Highly organised, self-motivated, and full of creative ideas

Bonus: previous work for a beauty, e-commerce brand or as a makeup artist
