Role Overview:

As the Pharmacist Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of service and professionalism. You will lead a dedicated team of pharmacists and support staff, manage inventory, and drive business growth while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants.

Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and professional standards.

Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and enhance customersatisfaction.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals and local organizations to supportcommunity health initiatives.

Receiving prescriptions, checking patients' medicine histories, and ensuring optimal dosage and methods of administration and drug compatibility before dispensing using FRED Dispense and FRED Office.

Administering vaccines including Influenza, COVID boosters, Shingles and more

Checking of Dose Administration Aids for local community patients and nursing home.

Educating customers on health promotion, disease prevention and the proper use ofmedicines

Confidently recommend non-prescription medicines and related goods in acommunity pharmacy

maintaining prescription files and recording issue of narcotics, poisons and habit-forming drugs

supervising and coordinating the work of Pharmacy Technicians, pharmacy interns andPharmacy Sales Assistants

Maintaining stock in the pharmacy including: storing and preserving vaccines

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree

Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA

Immunising pharmacist preferred (training can be provided)

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology.

A commitment to continuous professional development.
