The Terry White Yarrabilba store is part of a group of 5 stores covering the Gold Coast Hinterland/Tambourine/Logan area. It is the flagship store, dispensing about 450 prescriptions per day. Its the only pharmacy in Yarrabilba, with the nearest being a 20 minute drive away making it a very important resource to the local community.

Being part of Terry White, the store has a strong focus on quality dispensing and services. In particular, there are a number of rooms to provide Professional Services such as Weight Loss, Diabetes Management, Sleep/CPAP, Vaccinations and New born/Infant assessments and support. Patients can book these appointments via the Health Engine site, or appointments can be made in-store. Additionally, Terry White embraces a Forward Dispensing model, encouraging the Pharmacist team to be 'out front' and available to customers as part of the provision of the professional services

The store has approximately 15 staff including a Retail Manager, Dispensary Manager, Dispensary Technicians, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants. It's open 730am - 7pm Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm Saturdays and 9am - 5pm Sundays.

The demographic in Yarrabilba is largely young, blue collar families who put a great value on these additional services.

The Role

The Pharmacy Business Manager will take overall responsibility for the leadership of the store. Primary deliverables will be revenue and $GP but also to create a great team dynamic

This is a full-time, permanent position, mostly working Monday - Friday. Weekend work would be rare. The role is roughly 50/50 business management (eg planograms/stock/rosters/revenue/GP mgt) and dispensing/dispensary management.

Apart from current AHPRA registration, you'll need the following skills;

• Commercial mindset - understands the drivers of revenue and GP and how to improve each
• Customer Centric - seeks out customer interaction, particularly with regard to increasing volume of professional services consultations
• Leadership - builds a cohesive and positive team environment where people want to come to work
• Excellent Communication skills - with both staff and customers - comfortable dealing with a wide variety of backgrounds, ages etc
• Drive and Ambition - you care about results and are passionate about taking the necessary steps to be successful

• Pay rate of $70/hr + superannuation (above PSA Award)
