About the Role
We are excited to announce multiple opportunities for Bowls Technicians specialising in the construction and installation of artificial surfaces within our bowls department. Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, this role offers the exciting chance to travel across Australia. You will be responsible for the professional construction and installation of TigerTurf's synthetic surfaces for our esteemed bowls clients.

This dynamic position involves working with a diverse range of clients, including bowls clubs, councils, and retirement villages throughout Australia. As this is a customer-facing role, maintaining a neat and professional appearance, along with a polite and customer-focused attitude, is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Work as part of a motivated team

· Demonstrate exceptional punctuality

· Represent the company in a professional manner

· Organise on site activities in consultation with the site manager

· Plan and coordinate daily activities with site manager

· Manage work programs in consultation with the site manager

· Effectively communicate with suppliers

· Administer WHSEQ systems

· Ensure onsite records are maintained

Skills and Requirements

· Valid current driver’s license

· Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain)

· Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

· Experienced at the construction & installation of artificial grass bowling greens (experience with sewn surfaces will be seen as an advantage)

· Experience with relevant machinery (excavator, rollers, loaders, specialised installation equipment, motorised backpack blowers) is an advantage

· Ability to travel when required

· Available to work weekends

· Friendly, can-do attitude

· Self-motivated, organised, physically fit, and able to work independently or as part of a team

· Ability to read construction drawings
