About the role

We are seeking an experienced Swimming Pool Technician to join our team at Southern Peninsula Pool Service. As a full-time Swimming Pool Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, cleaning and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools and spas in the Southern Mornington Peninsula area. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong technical skill set and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who is honest, ethical and reliable.

What you'll be doing

Performing regular maintenance and inspections on swimming pools and spas, including cleaning, testing water quality, and adjusting chemical levels

Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electronic and plumbing issues related to pool and spa equipment

Installing new pool and spa systems, including filtration, heating, and automation systems

Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on pool and spa care and maintenance

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and materials used

Adhering to all relevant safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Ideally 5 years' experience as a Swimming Pool Technician

Strong technical skills and knowledge of swimming pool and spa systems, including filtration, pumps, controllers and chemical treatment

Competence in pool plumbing to a high standard

Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of pool and spa equipment

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide expert advice to customers

Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records

Valid manual driver's licence

Able to work in a physical outdoor role
