Working within the logistics team, performing stock level management and purchasing functions for the site including raw materials, packaging, and value add items. You will be required to perform regular stock takes of all these items, including checking silo levels, measuring scrap and packaging stock on hand, then purchasing to maintain accurate stock levels based on forecasts in SAP (backflushing) to enable continuity of manufacturing

Shift Time: 7.6hr shifts

Hours: Monday - Friday (5 shifts/week)

Role: Inventory Controller

Hourly Rate: $38-$42ph dependant on experience

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

- Manage the resin stock levels on site, working with the centralised resin team

- Manage stock levels of raw materials, master batch, resin additives.

- Manage packaging stock levels

- Purchasing in SAP of all the raw materials, packaging, etc quantities based on customer forecasts and historical data

- Ensure work is conducted safely and take safety seriously.

- Recording waste volumes, and help production manage good waste percentages

- Raw Materials rationalisation management

- Purchasing – internal orders from other sites, working with customer service

Desired skills and experience:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar purchasing, Inventory controller

- High attention to detail

- Willingness to learn

- Attention to detail

- Generally fit and healthy

- Computer experience, specifically – SAP, Excel, Word

- Excellent time management and organisational skills
