APG Workforce are recruiting for an Inventory Controller to join Australia’s leader in food service at one of their site locations in Chullora NSW.

Expanding rapidly to meet the demand of an ever-growing customer base, this is Australia’s largest family operated Foodservice company with over 800 company owned trucks and customer service focused drivers making daily deliveries.

Key duties/accountabilities

• Perform regular stock adjustments (at the conclusion of investigations) and conduct inventory related maintenance (MFG Pro) to ensure inventory integrity and inventory systems are up to date and accurate
• Ensure that inventory receipting accuracy is maintained to the highest level
• Running of inventory reports with all discrepancies investigated and results forwarded to the key stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP Food Safety requirements
• Address warehouse layout issues and advise Warehouse Manager of required changes
• Assist with all Branch/Hub stock related queries
• Stock Take preparation. This will include performing and adhering to all requirements as outlined in the Stock Take Policy and Procedure Manual

Knowledge, skills and qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of inventory management systems (MFG Pro) and its functionality
• Possess intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• High analytical and problem solving ability
• Possess the ability to work autonomously and manage work schedules unsupervised
• Develop and maintain effective communication with all key personnel and assist accountants with any stock related issues and discrepancies
• Possess the ability to work within a team and promote a team environment
