The Opportunity
A fantastic opportunity now exists within a leading government organisation for an Injury Management professional to come on board, with a focus on early intervention and injury prevention.

About the role:
The role reports to a Senior Safety Manager and sits within the broader people, culture and safety team.

This role is an immediate start, 3 month contract. The organisation will be recruiting the role permanently and this gives you a prime opportunity to apply for the permanent role.

Duties:

• Support a small amount of claims and RTW
• Provide injury management advice and support to employees and managers
• Provide office based ergonomic assessments
• Source a new EAP provider aligned to the needs of the organisation
• Support in the identification, review and development of systems and processes for management of psychosocial risk

Skills & Requirements:

• Good working knowledge of workers compensation legislation in Victoria
• Demonstrated experience working in Return to Work, Injury Management and early intervention
• Ability to develop documentation, process and systems
• Strong consultation skills across all levels of staff and external providers
• Formal qualifications - Safety or Health related as well as a Return to Work Coordinator certificate
