About the role
You will be partially embedded within an important WA client's marketing team, working on a range of projects to continue development of their customer data assets and associated reporting/analysis using data from across the business. You will also work with directors, consultants and analysts on other client projects, addressing commercial issues across a range of industries.
Key responsibilities will include:
Sourcing, transforming, enhancing and modelling data for decision support around clients' strategic and commercial issues.
Supporting client understanding of analytical insights through creative visualisations and presentations.
Undertaking ongoing data and analytical services for the client, working partially in their offices and using their systems.
Understanding the existing customer data warehouse, data sources and transformations, as well as how the business users consume the data.
Enhancing and migrating existing customer data warehouses to their cloud platform (snowflake) and automating data pipelines where practical.
Ensuring all data management and processing is undertaken in adherence with the client's and AlignAlytics policies.
Delivering efficient support, both to client-facing AlignAlytics staff and to clients directly.

Skills and experience
With at least a years’ experience working with data, you will be a key part of our team, as well as our client's team. Your flexibility, creativity and an ability to think with new perspectives is key to delivering results.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on identifying business needs and delivering effective solutions.
Strong technical skills in data manipulation and querying in Microsoft SQL and Excel.
Experience with data visualisation and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, etc).
Ability to work independently and manage a complex and changing workload.
Working closely with clients and business users to understand and deliver to their requirements.
Being inquisitive and eager to learn new technologies and approaches on the job with our support.
Bachelor of Business, Data Analytics or Information Systems/Computer Science.
Any CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc), Azure or Alteryx experience would be a bonus.
