We are recruiting for a Management Accountant for a Not For Profit organisation. This would be a varied role, responsible for managing and supporting budgeting, financial performance reporting, analysis and audit and monitoring of program funding and related spending.

Details for the role:

• Work as a Management Accountant for a not for profit organisation
• Senior role, reporting into the General Manager of Corporate Services
• We are looking for someone with strong analysis, funding and audit experience
• Salary from $111-115k plus super and salary packaging benefits
• Part Time – 3 days per week
• Hybrid work arrangements (1 day in the office) – office located in Mascot, close to public transport
• 6-month contract initially until the end of October 2025 with the potential for extension

About the organisation:

This organisation works closely with service providers, local health districts and GP and Medical Clinics, helping them support people in the community.

Duties:

• Work collaboratively across the finance and program teams
• Develop and manage the annual budge for the organisation ensuring that funding, operational and strategic priorities are met
• Conduct analysis and audit activities where needed
• Provide financial insights, reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders within the organisations
• Ensure that financial dashboards are updated regularly, with information on budgets, forecasts, expenditure, variances etc
• Review and approve the financial aspects of contracts and procurement activities
• Provide training and guidance to other staff members when needed

Requirements:

• We are looking for someone who is CA / CPA qualified or in process.
• Someone with experience working in the Health area would be preferable
• Someone with experience using PowerBi would be beneficial but not essential
• Someone that has strong analysis and audit experience
• An Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
