Shine Support Coordination & Consultancy Services will work in partnership with Individuals, their families, mainstream providers and the disability sector to ensure a participant’s services are innovative, flexible and person-centred.
The Support Coordination – Team Leader oversees all aspects of service delivery and relationship management. The position provides the management, direction and strategy for the support coordination program and oversees the supervision of the support coordination team.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Implementation and Development Expected Deliverables
Develop, implement and monitor operational program plans.
Develop, lead and manage the organisation’s operations.
Develop policies and procedures in line with service delivery.
Manage and monitor risk.
Perform Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination tasks to assist participants in implementing their NDIS plan.
Provide written and/or verbal reports as requested by the Chief Executive Officer.
Relationship Management Expected Deliverables
Develop and maintain effective communication and collaboration with workers of Shine SCCS.
Develop and maintain open and effective communication to foster and promote a culture of person-centred services.
Represent Shine SCCS on committees, working parties, forums, seminars and attend meetings, whilst acting in the best interests of the organisation.
Projects Expected Deliverables
Participate in internal and external audits aligned with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission Practice Standards to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
Collate feedback and evaluation results to embed the delivery of flexible, individualised and contemporary services for people with a disability.
Other duties as required.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
Tertiary qualifications in relevant field.
Experience in managing disability, allied or mental health services.
Proven experience leading and coaching a team/s.
Experience in supervision, performance management, workforce development and planning, handling disputes and grievance resolutions.
Highly developed problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
Experience applying a continuous quality improvement framework, ensuring best outcomes for all stakeholders are continually assessed and delivered.
Understanding and implementation of policy and procedures relevant to the service.
Highly developed written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
Desirable
Demonstrated experience in Specialist Support Coordination.
Experience using Datanova FlowLogic software.
