About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Support Coordinator Team Lead to join our growing organisation. In this full-time leadership role, you will lead and manage the Support Coordination & Psychosocial Recovery Coaching team, ensuring high-quality and compliant service delivery to participants with complex psychosocial needs. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will shape team culture, drive innovation, and support the delivery of strategic outcomes across our coordination division.
This role is based in our Northern Rivers region, with a primarily work-from-home arrangement and regular travel to participants and team members as required. In addition to leading the team, you will continue to manage a personal caseload of participants, providing both Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching services.

Manage a reduced personal caseload of participants, providing both Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching services
Lead, mentor, and supervise the Coordination/Recovery Coaching team to achieve KPIs and compliance
Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews, including training, upskilling, and conflict resolution
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve participant outcomes
Ensure each team member maintains accurate, up-to-date documentation in line with NDIS requirements
Liaise with the NDIA, health services, and providers for participant reviews, change of circumstances, and SIL processes
Oversee development and negotiation of service agreements and support schedules
Educate participants and families on using MyGov and the NDIS portal
Ensure participants’ funds are appropriately monitored and utilised
Develop and review Individual Support Plans and End of Plan Reports
Attend and/or prepare team for NDIS plan review meetings and advocate for participant goals
Identify systemic issues and implement continuous improvement strategies
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a disability or mental health setting
Minimum 3-4 years of direct Support Coordination experience within the NDIS
Advanced understanding of complex mental health, psychosocial, and dual diagnoses (AoD)
Strong understanding of NDIS legislation, funding categories, and participant pathways
High-level written and verbal communication skills, including advocacy, negotiation, and conflict resolution
Experienced in delivering reports, managing team compliance, and monitoring KPIs
Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to participant-centred practice
High emotional intelligence and the ability to foster a resilient, accountable team culture
Strategic thinker with strong decision-making and delegation abilities
The Essentials
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a disability or mental health setting
Minimum 3-4 years of direct Support Coordination experience within the NDIS
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.
Comprehensive motor-vehicle insurance.
First Aid/CPR.
Mental Health First Aid (preferred but not essential).
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Proficient technology skills - NDIS Software & Microsoft 365 (ESSENTIAL)
