Thornado is a leading importer and distributor of outdoor machinery, industrial hoses, and pipe fittings in Australia. An opportunity has arisen in our Ingleburn office for internal sales from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

We are seeking a dedicated Internal Sales team with a plumbing or pump industry background to join our team. These positions are critical in supporting our sales operations in the southwest suburbs.

About the Role:
This is an office-based position that involves talking with customers, preparing quotes, processing orders, and helping the team stay organised. You’ll be working closely with our sales reps, warehouse staff, and management to help keep everything running smoothly.

Tasks & responsibilities

Assisting customers with phone and counter sales enquiries

Providing product information and support to customers (training will be provided)

Processing of sales orders, invoices, quotations, purchase orders and stock transfers

Maintain customer and supplier relationship based on honesty, capability and great communication; and

General administration

Perform additional tasks as and when required

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in plumbing or pump industry background.

Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with a good work ethic

Have great attention to detail and good organisational skills

Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Have Basic to Intermediate level of computer skills; and
