The Opportunity:

Due to the retirement of our long-standing OSHC/Vacation Care Director, we are seeking applications from qualified and passionate educators for a 1.0 FTE permanent OSHC/Vacation Care Director position. The position will lead the Assistant Director and OSHC Educators to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children in Before and After School Care as well as Vacation Care. The position will commence on Monday, 9 June 2025 (or as negotiated) to allow for sufficient handover of the role. The role is 37.5 hours a week/46 weeks per year. The hours can be negotiated with the Principal.

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

Leadership experience including supervising staff and managing complex situations

Strong communication, organisation and time management skills

The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion

Experience in children's programming

Well developed observation and reporting skills

Experience in administrative duties related to OSHC operations including financial management

A passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs, including those children with additional needs

Additional Information

The successful applicant must have or be willing to obtain:

Qualifications recognised by ACECQA for working in a child-related industry

A current DHS Working with Children Check

A current First Aid Certificate

Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse & Neglect - Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) training

A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time, Our Place framework

Food Safety Training
