Role Details
The Social Workers Registration Board of South Australia is seeking a Financial Lead to join their team on a full-time term basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the financial integrity and governance of the SWRB SA, overseeing all financial functions and maintaining robust governance practices.
Collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders, including project officers, external auditors and the SWRB SA Senior Executive Group.
Leading the annual budgeting process, monitoring budget performance and providing insights into variances.
Identifying and evaluating budget issues whilst developing and implementing high level, innovative and appropriate solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Knowledge of government financial systems and processes.
Experience in managing accounting functions, including the preparation of annual reports, financial statements, and end-of-year processes.
Expertise in general ledger accounting, overseeing the reconciliation processes and ensuring accuracy with relevant standards and regulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Special Conditions
