This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to step into a leadership role with a well-established, compliance-focused builder. With a growing pipeline of new build and commercial fit-out projects valued up to $20M, this company is known for delivering complex work across healthcare, government, education, and infrastructure sectors.

About the Role

As Senior Contracts Administrator, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end contract management across multiple projects. You’ll work closely with project managers and commercial leadership to drive successful project outcomes, while mentoring junior contracts administrators and ensuring consistency in processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Full contract lifecycle management – head contracts and subcontracts

Cost tracking, budget forecasting, and progress reporting

Managing claims, variations, and extension of time submissions

Leading procurement and scope reviews with subcontractors and consultants

Guiding junior CAs, ensuring compliance with commercial systems and procedures

Liaising with clients and consultants to ensure contractual obligations are met

About You

Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial construction contract administration

Experience delivering projects up to $20M, ideally across new builds and fit-outs

Excellent negotiation, cost management, and reporting skills

Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a mentoring role

Sound knowledge of Australian Standard and D&C contract forms

Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
