Task and responsibilities:
Perform engineering tasks, either as a team or as an individual. Critical core skills include:
strong engineering first principles,
mechanical and structural design, and
a solid working knowledge of engineering related Australian Standards.
Learn and operate a suite of CAE tools including:
3D modelling and drafting,
Finite Element Analysis software,
3D scanning tools (geospatial and hand scanning), and
3D printing and CNC prototyping.
Continually demonstrate strong communication, time and project management skills.
Continually demonstrate innovation, flexibility and problem solving both in a technical manor but also a professional manor.
Qualifications and experience:
3+ years of experience in a similar technical role (design or analysis experience preferable).
Engineers Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering from an Australian University.
Membership with IEAust.
Committed to achieving RPEQ status.
Strong written and spoken communication skills.
Strong technical skills.
Trade skills are beneficial but not essential.

Job Summary:
You will be working within a multidisciplinary engineering company to a range of industries specializing in a range of areas but not limited to industrial plant and equipment, material handling, process equipment, vehicle modification and transportation systems. To be successfully complete this role you will need to be proficient in CAD, engineering calculations, communication and documentation skills.
Initially, your place of work will be at one of our offices, however once the training and induction period has been completed, working from home arrangements can be negotiated.
Attention to detail, ability to follow directions and intrinsic motivation are essential to succeed in this job.
