The Opportunity

We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated HR Driver – Leading Hand to join our team based at our Hillsdale branch. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a strong driving background and proven leadership skills, looking to take the next step in their career.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead drivers, ensuring timely pre-start checks and departures
• Manage driver rosters and daily run schedules
• Operate HR vehicles, including Side Lift and Rear Lift trucks
• Perform safe and efficient loading and unloading of waste as required
• Maintain accurate records and complete all required paperwork
• Use computerised systems and operational tools as part of daily duties

About You

• Hold a valid HR Licence (Heavy Rigid)
• Experienced operating Side Lift vehicles
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Safety-focused with a strong “zero harm” mindset
• Reliable, positive attitude, and open to learning
• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
