We are currently seeking experienced Telco Labourers/Truck Drivers and Leading Hands to support our cable recovery crews for an immediate start on a new project in Camberwell. This position offers ongoing work with opportunities for career advancement and upskilling for the right candidates.

Requirements:

Telco experience preferred but not essential, however construction industry experience essential

Construction induction card and a drivers licence is essential

Telstra One card, Confined space, Traffic management, Asbestos and other related tickets highly regarded

Must be physically fit and capable of meeting production targets, this project suits people who enjoy physical work

Some tasks will involve working with lead cable, applicants must be capable of following industry PPE procedures and practices for Lead Risk Work, and undertake required monitoring

MR or HR licence and proficiency with manual gearbox are required

Detail-oriented, integrity and personal organisation a must

A Police background check with No Reportable Outcomes will be required by our client

Leading Hands must be able to organise and work with a small team, co-ordinate site assets, run pre-start and toolbox meetings, problem solve issues, read and understand plans, efficiently and competently complete required safety and admin paperwork, and reliably report to supervisors

Available to work Monday to Friday, with some overtime opportunities. Punctuality, reliability and own reliable transport are a must
