KOOTENAY PARK NURSERY is located in Neerim and is a family-run wholesale production business that just happens to be one of the biggest in-ground and containerised nurseries in Gippsland.

They specialise in propagating, growing and containerising ornamental deciduous trees with a variety of weeping and standardised trees, supplying to a range of retail and wholesale nurseries through to containerised tree growers and landscapers, throughout Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, NSW and A.C.T.

Their passion, experience and knowledge holds a reputation of producing the very best quality trees and require multiple nursery hands on a permanent basis with immediate start.

The responsibilities:

*Planting

*Propagation

*Potting

*Pruning

*Harvesting

*Budding/ Grafting

*Trimming

*irrigation

*Weed control

*Loading trucks/ Assisting on deliveries

The requirements:

*Demonstrated experience working in horticultural or farming. Tractor driving experience an advantage but not essential.

*Drivers Licence and own transport essential- location of Nursery is not close to public transport.

* Possible arrangement for local accomodation to the right applicant.

* Strong work ethic and the ability to work as a team

* Keen eye for detail

• The ability to work in the diverse Gippsland weather

Hours are generally Monday – Thursday, 7.30 – 5.00 with Friday finishing at 12.30. With some overtime available.
