Your role at St John of God Mount Lawley Hospital
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled Nurses to join our Endoscopy team.
You will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of patient care in a safe and cost effective manner under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The Position
- Conduct nursing practice in accordance with Nurses and Midwives Board of Australia (NMBA) Enrolled Nurse Competency Standards, regulations and Scope of practice.
- Participates in the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care and will refer back to the Registered Nurse for any nursing care that is outside the practice, competence and responsibility of an Enrolled Nurse.
- Monitor, maintain and develop own standards of professional nursing practice and supervises Assistants in Nursing/ Patient Care Assistants and Enrolled Nurse students in the delivery of patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
- Report information regarding patients to appropriate personnel.
- Participate as a team member in caring for and educating patients.
- Participate in formulating appropriate safety, security and risk management strategies in the workplace for the protection and well-being of staff and patients.
- Keeps up to date of clinical and technological nursing advances.
- Previous experience in Endoscopy or a Day Surgery setting is desirable.
You will hold current registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.
To succeed you will have the ability to work effectively and harmoniously within a dynamic health care team, holding effective written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to ongoing professional education. In addition, you will be able to problem solve or seek help from appropriate resources and the aptitude to implement care plans under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

- Salary: $44.25 to $47.20 per hour, (incl. 25% loading) plus 11.5% superannuation
