The Ethnic Communities Council of Western Australia (ECCWA) is the peak body for ethnic organisations in the state, advocating for all ethnic communities. It collaborates with government and community agencies to ensure the effective involvement of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) groups in policymaking, citizenship, and community relations. ECCWA promotes multiculturalism as vital to the social, economic, and cultural success of Western Australia, focusing on culturally responsive and linguistically empowering advocacy to influence decision-making for all ethnic communities across Western Australia.

We are going through a period of immense change and evolution. We have planned and mapped out our road to success, which will put ECCWA in the spotlight as the peak systemic advocacy body for Western Australia’s Ethnic communities.

We are now searching for a long-term, permanent EO (Executive Officer). A person who understands the importance of equity and meets our essential criteria, who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. We are looking for a contemporary, sophisticated leader who is brave, committed, seasoned in leading projects, writing grant submissions, delivering plans, and has a track record of success.

Ideally, you will have a background in the ‘For Purpose Sector’, preferably in a Membership organisation. Applicants must have the right to live and work in Western Australia.
