The Role

As a Civill Engineer with Colliers you will plans, designs, organise and provide site inspeciton services as requried for Civil engineering projects including civil infrastructure, land development, roads, car parking, pipelines, gas and water supply schemes, drainage and sewerage systems, airports and more.

determining construction methods, materials and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods and procedures

monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs

assessing present and future travel flow patterns taking into account population increase and needs change

designing the physical aspects of transportation systems such as highways, railroads, urban transit.

Understand and apply the technical aspects of design utilising the Australian Standards.

Liaise and coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders.

You will have:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

6 or more years experience working in a civil consulting environment.

Skills in the areas of project and budget management.

Ability to design civil engineering schemes and designs utilising the Australian Standards and codes of practice.

Technical expertise to include drainage design, flood management, car parks, and highway design.

Excellent communication skills, including client liaison and technical writing skills.
