Position Title: Business Support Officer – part-time (0.5 FTE)

Location: Mandurah

Are you a numbers-savvy team player who loves making processes run smoothly? Join us as our next Business Support Officer! Working part-time (37.5 hours per fortnight) you’ll be at the heart of Oseca’s financial operations—keeping our records spot-less, ensuring we meet every compliance requirement, and delivering insights that help our leaders make the best decisions for our community.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep the books balanced: Process supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Stay on top of invoices: Monitor outstanding bills, follow up with clients, and reconcile visa and debit card accounts each month.
  • Support our financial close: Prepare end-of-month reconciliations, and assist with funding acquittals and year-end activities.
  • Turn data into insights: Build reports and analyses that guide decision making..
  • Champion compliance: Maintain contracts, leases, and funding agreements in out Quality system—and ensure we’re always audit-ready.
  • Improve our processes: Spot opportunities for greater efficiency and help us implement them.

What You’ll Bring

  • At least 2 years’ hands-on experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills,
  • A keen eye for detail and a talent for juggling multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
  • A proactive mindset: you see a problem, you fix it.

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in Australia, plus a valid WA driver’s licence.
  • Clear National Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWC).
