Step into a role as a SOC Analyst within the Cyber Division in Sydney.
You’ll be part of a mature Global SOC team NO 24/7 shifts here—and help shape a growing SOC service that’s being heavily invested in. This is your chance to leave a lasting mark by working with cutting-edge technologies and building trust with clients.

What You’ll Do

• Protect & Advise: Act as a trusted advisor, helping secure client infrastructure with pragmatic technology solutions.
• Lead by Example: Remediate major incidents, guide the response process, and foster a culture of excellence.
• Drive Service Growth: Help enhance the SOC offering, sharing your entrepreneurial mindset to create innovative solutions.
• Collaborate Globally: Work cross-functionally with global teams and represent the division to clients.

⭐ Core Technical Responsibilities (80%)

• Threat detection and incident response using cutting-edge security platforms.
• Analyze and monitor alerts across EDR/XDR platforms, cloud services (M365, AWS, Azure), and SIEM systems.
• Optimize security tools and detection rules.
• Respond to phishing and malware incidents.
• Participate in vulnerability remediation and threat hunting.

⭐ Business Growth Activities (20%)

• Contribute to service improvement initiatives & help identify new offerings.
• Collaborate with clients & support marketing efforts with technical insights.
• Share knowledge across teams & participate in industry events.

What Makes You Stand Out

• You are PR or Citizen
• Proven experience in a SOC, ideally 1 – 2 years experience
• SIEM tools such as Microsoft Defender, Alien Volt & Sentinel or similar
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for security innovation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify technical insights for clients.
• Experience with MSP/MSSP environments is a DISTINCT bonus.
