THE ROLE

The Drafter will be directly supporting the Design team by setting up REVIT projects within company standards, placing FF&E components, updating component families to be project specific and communicating internally and externally with reports, presentations and specification writing.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 7 years solid experience in REVIT and BIM360 in an architectural or interiors field is required. Must have strong working knowledge with REVIT to be able to immediately support projects.
• Healthcare facility design support is desired.
• Some experience helpful with Furniture Specification software for FF&E Room Content development and integration to project drawings or models.
• Familiarity and some level of experience with rendering/visualization tools such as using 3D Views and materials in Revit, portable to Sketch-Up PhotoShop
• Familiarity or some level of experience with emerging platforms for interior architectural rendering – working into virtual environments with platforms such as AutoDesk TwinMotion or Enscape
• Must be capable of working within drawing sets and creating and modifying floorplans, furniture, and medical/non-medical equipment (FF&E) components.
• Familiar with BIM standards and templates.
• Proven experience working with REVIT models and families and creating and modifying FF&E components to create project specific family libraries.
• Ability to multi-task to support multiple projects and deadlines is a must.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid capacity as part of the team.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Requires a minimum of an associate degree or certification in Interior Design, Architectural Drafting, a related field, or hold an Autodesk Certified User certification.
