A leading design studio is looking for a Visual Designer to become a key part of their growing creative team. You’ll work across brand, digital, and environmental design projects that bring new life to spaces like Brisbane Waterfront, Surf Lakes, Rivermakers Brisbane, and Herston Quarter.

About you
You're a creative powerhouse with a strong sense of purpose and a collaborative spirit. You enjoy taking ideas from concept to creation — jumping into workshops, visiting project sites, brainstorming with the team, and bringing it all together in stunning visual outputs. Your skills span across a variety of mediums — from branding and publication design to digital content, motion, mapping, and signage. Variety excites you, and no two days look the same.

Your role
Depending on your level of experience, you could join as an emerging or established Visual Designer, taking on responsibilities like:

Delivering innovative design outcomes across branding, editorial, digital, motion graphics, and environmental graphics

Shaping visual storytelling for high-profile urban, landscape, and planning projects

Developing style guides, templates, and cohesive brand systems

Turning complex technical content into easy-to-understand infographics, diagrams, and digital visuals

Building and managing a library of visual assets

Working on internal marketing projects to enhance brand presence

Mentoring junior team members (for more experienced applicants)

Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across different offices

What they are looking for
Open to a range of experience levels, but the ideal candidate will bring:

Formal qualifications in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or similar

A portfolio that shows outstanding creativity, design thinking, and technical ability

Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop essential)

A solid grasp of design principles across print and digital

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure

Confidence presenting ideas internally and externally

A positive, proactive attitude and a love of collaboration

Bonus Skills:

Experience in architecture, urban planning, or landscape environments

Skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other motion design software

Knowledge of interactive, web, and digital design practices

Wayfinding and signage experience

Familiarity with ISO9001 or QA processes (especially for senior candidates)
