As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the marketing team, collaborating closely with the Brand and Design Manager to create visually compelling materials that align with the company’s branding and marketing strategies. Your designs will enhance the brand's identity and effectively communicate its message across various platforms.

This role requires an energetic and tenacious candidate with high productivity and an eye for quality. The role will be a full-time fixed term contract position to cover maternity leave and will report to the Brand & Design Manager and support the broader marketing team and business lines.

The role is fast paced and requires a creative designer with strong people and time management skills to help maintain and build on our brand as we approach new initiatives; from designing glossy property IMs to tenant promotions, high level presentations and advertising campaigns for multiple channels, that can really make a difference.

Centuria is an aggressively growing business across Australia and New Zealand specialising predominantly in Property Funds Management and with an offering in the investment bond space also. Here you will play an important part of a small but highly efficient marketing team who are extremely personable and collaborative with hands on mentoring from an experienced design manager.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field or commensurate experience.

· Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in a marketing environment.

· Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in design principles and branding.

· Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

· Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a creative environment and enjoys contributing to a brand's visual storytelling.

Experience and capabilities

You are a capable Designer, having preferably worked in a corporate environment. You are detail-orientated and have the ability to think creatively and work to deadlines. You’ll need to be organised and have multi-tasking abilities in managing competing priorities. You should be aware of the financial services regulatory environment and ensure compliance across all marketing-designed touch points.

Skills

· Mac user, but an understanding of Microsoft.

· 2yrs+ experience in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) producing brochure and newsletter materials as well as digital assets and advertising (examples will be requested).

· Strong Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, especially PowerPoint.

· Excellent attention to detail – especially when producing PDS documents and client reports – accuracy is critical.

· Strong creative skills and foresight across print and digital design.

· Experience working in a fast-paced corporate business, ideally with a good understanding or experience in the Financial Services / asset management world, or a highly regulated industry - this will be an advantage.

· Good communication and people skills. Working with multiple personalities and levels of seniority.

· HTML5 and creation of animated gifs along with AfterEffects and PremierePro would be highly regarded.

Day-to-day responsibilities

· Design and produce marketing materials, including brochures, posters, social media graphics, and web banners.

· Collaborate with the Brand and Design Manager to develop creative concepts and campaigns.

· Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, delivering a cohesive visual identity.

· Prepare rough drafts and present ideas for feedback.

· Use graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) to create high-quality visuals.

· Adapt designs for various platforms, ensuring optimal performance across digital and print media.

· Stay updated on design trends and incorporate them into projects when relevant.

· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.

· Work with external printers and suppliers to coordinate printing, stationery, large scale printing of new collateral, banners for events, hoarding for development sites, stand designs and more - all to brand guidelines.
