The adaptability to learn and undertake training for new equipment, technology and processes in order to reach production targets

Basic numeracy and literacy capability, and be able to effectively communicate with your team and line leaders

The flexibility to be able to undertake shift work (various shifts are available), and overtime when required

What you'll bring

Due to exciting growth within our Helidon Assembly Plant, we are looking for motivated, ambitious individuals who are willing to undertake full ‘on the job’ training, to join our high performing, dynamic team. Becoming an Assembly Operator will see you operate various pieces of equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce a variety of quality explosive products, which are shipped directly to mine sites throughout Australia and Asia Pacific.

You'll also be responsible for:

Positively contributing to our Zero Harm safety culture

Assembling high quality explosive products, by utilising state of the art fixed plant

Identifying and contributing to possible plant improvements – such as reducing waste and improving quality, productivity and safety performance of the site

Completing required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner, and communicating any quality issues to your line leader

Ensuring your work area is maintained to a tidy, safe standard, as well as general housekeeping of break rooms and kitchen areas

Positioned adjacent to the QLD DEEDI Explosive Reserve and just 1km from our domestic freight provider, we enjoy an ideal location for streamlined operations. Established in 1988, our 400-acre site is purpose-built for the safe assembly and distribution of Nonel detonator assemblies, vital for supporting the mining and civil works industries.
