Your new company

Our public services client has an immediate need for a Temporary Financial Accountant, for an estimated initial 8 week assignment, with the possibility of extension.

Your new role

As the Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

- Audit preparation
- Financial statement preparation
- General month-end reporting
- Reconciliations

What you'll need to succeed

- Ideally hold a full CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Available to commence within the next 1 week
- Proven month-end and year-end accounting and audit preparation experience
- Able to work to strict deadlines
- Be happy to fully commit to the estimated 8 week temporary period
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with various internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient user of Excel and highly systems literate

What you'll get in return

- A hourly pay rate between $50ph to $60ph inclusive of leave loading + super (dependent on experience)
