Are you a Facilities Manager with a passion for operational excellence, compliance, and building strong, capable teams? Join a leading WA-based utilities organisation managing high-profile corporate facilities and extensive land assets for a 6-12 month contract.

As the Facilities Manager, you will take ownership of the Perth CBD corporate office and extensive portfolio of vacant land properties across WA. You will lead day-to-day operations, regulatory compliance, and team development, while bringing structure, clarity and documentation to the function.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic, senior facilities leadership role with high visibility and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the CBD office, including liaising with management and handling office fit-out approvals and changes.
• Manage vacant land sites across WA, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations (e.g. firebreaks, fencing, CCTV, weed control).
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and site access for both built and vacant assets.

• Develop and maintain critical operational documents such as incident response plans, risk registers, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead documentation design and rollout, and upskill team members in process writing and compliance frameworks.

• Rebuild trust and improve service delivery with internal stakeholders through professional leadership and strong communication.
• Monitor and manage facilities contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor performance.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in the utilities, government, or property sectors
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, site safety, and maintenance practices for both office and land-based assets
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Experience with contract management, service provider coordination, and regulatory documentation
• A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to bring structure to an evolving team and environment
