ERP D365 F&O - Power Platform Developer
Codex Consulting
Posted 9 days ago
Use your ERP expertise to solve real operational problems — and help digitise the tools that keep industries moving.
We’re partnering with a leading refrigeration and air conditioning business that’s investing in smarter, more agile ways of working. With operations across Australia and New Zealand, they’re looking for a Power Platform Developer who can bring strong ERP knowledge, especially around Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), into a modern, user-focused tech environment.
You’ll work in a small, high-impact team, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, and play a key role in shaping how the business leverages technology across finance, supply chain, and operations.
This isn’t a typical developer role — it’s hands-on, ERP-integrated, and outcome-driven. If you’ve worked with complex enterprise systems and are ready to grow your Power Platform skillset, this is a real opportunity.
The Role
You’ll work across branches in Australia and New Zealand to digitise and streamline workflows, making smarter use of their D365 F&O ecosystem. You’ll collaborate with business users, analysts, and IT peers to build tools that solve real challenges — from finance to field operations.
While experience with Power Apps and Power BI is helpful, this role prioritises ERP expertise — understanding data relationships, business logic, and integration across thousands of tables and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain solutions that integrate with Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance and Supply Chain modules).
Leverage Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) to digitise manual processes and improve system usability.
Work directly with end-users to understand their needs and build practical tools that make work easier.
Own post-deployment support, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with the CTO to align development work with business strategy and digital priorities.
About You
3+ years’ experience working with ERP systems (ideally D365 F&O or similar enterprise platforms).
Confident navigating large, complex data models and relational databases.
Familiarity with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate — or a strong willingness to learn.
Solid understanding of SQL, APIs, and systems integration.
Able to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with strategic input.
Bonus points for knowledge of JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or React.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Why You’ll Love It
Shape your work: Be a key player in a small, focused tech team where your work has direct business impact.
Report directly to the CTO: Fast feedback, visible outcomes, and alignment with business strategy.
Real-world challenges: Build tools that affect operations every day — from logistics to finance.
Learn and grow: Be supported to deepen your Power Platform expertise in a practical environment.
Work flexibly: A down-to-earth culture with a focus on outcomes, not red tape.
This is the kind of role where ERP meets innovation — and where your knowledge of systems can create smarter, simpler ways of working.
