Nurse Next Door is on the lookout for a highly passionate, experienced and well rounded Registered Nurse to join us in the role of Clinical Care Manager.

Operating in a homecare environment, you’ll be responsible for upholding the clinical governance and high standards we are known for, whilst ensuring that our clients are safe and happy in their own homes. You’ll liaise with potential clients, setup individualised care plans to meet their unique needs and build professional relationships in the healthcare industry.

Your Next Adventure

Your new role requires both ‘leadership’ and ‘management’ skills in order to support the day-to-day running of the business and . Among other things, in your new role you will:

Design tailored and meaningful client care plans that foster positive relationships between our clients and the Care Team;

Meet with potential clients to consult on their options for premium homecare services;

Oversee client clinical care and maintain meticulous care documentation records;

Be accountable for maintaining the high clinical standards set by Nurse Next Door;

Assist in the management and development of a growing team of caregivers and nurses;

Represent the Nurse Next Door brand in all things you do

Why we’ll love you

Broad clinical experience (min 5+ years) as a Registered Nurse including out of hospital/ community setting;

Previous experience with people management (incl. performance management, coaching, feedback, rostering etc);

A self-led and autonomous leader who role-models our values everyday;

Receives advice, support and coaching as well as providing same to others;

Take initiative to do and learn what's needed without a complete reliance direction from others;

Ability to identify and report client care concerns (and solutions) to the Managing Director;

Healthcare industry contacts and professional relationships (e.g. Discharge Planners, NDIS Support Coordinators) as sources of referral and new business for Nurse Next Door.

You live on the northside of Brisbane and/ or within the Moreton Bay area.

Mandatory Requirements

AHPRA Registration

Registered Nurse (RN)

CPR & First Aid Certification

Current Queensland Drivers License

National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)

Working With Children Check ('Blue Card')

Disability Workers Scheme ('Yellow Card')

This full time position requires some flexibility and expectation you will work occasional evenings, weekends and on-call as required (e.g. phone calls from staff and/ or clients with urgent clinical matters)
