Clinical Care Manager - East Coast QLD - Aged Care

The Clinical Care Manager role is an integral role within this medium sized facility. You will work alongside the General Manager to ensure the smooth running of the facility day to day. Your responsibilities encompass all clinical care.

You will have excellent support with an involved management team consisting of Regional Manager, Quality Team, and internal HR support. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician who is quality focused and enjoys being in a culture where there is a huge emphasis on team work.

This facility has recently restructured putting a focus on person centred care. You will be an influential member of the senior management team and gain excellent experience in a new aged care project with a clinical, strategic focus.

Duties:

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the facility
• Support and lead the clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education
• Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes
• Lead compliance and accreditation preparations
• Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers
• Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits
• Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements

Criteria

• AHPRA registration an RN Div 1
• Experience in aged care management
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience with electronic systems
• Post grad qualifications desirable
• Accreditation experience
