About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Indoor and Outdoor Blinds Sales Representative to join our team at Jim's Blinds & Shutters (Australia). This is a contract role based in Melton, Geelong, serving the Western, Northern and surrounding suburbs. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Actively prospecting and identifying new sales opportunities within the designated territory
• Scheduling and conducting in-home consultations to assess customer needs and present tailored blinds and shutters solutions
• Providing professional advice and guidance to customers on the best products and services to meet their requirements
• Accurately measuring windows and doors to ensure precise product fit and installation
• Preparing detailed sales proposals and quotes for customers
• Closing sales and ensuring a smooth transition to the installation team
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and generating repeat business
• Collaborating with the broader sales and marketing team to support business objectives

What we're looking for

• Proven sales experience in the home improvement or related industry, preferably in the blinds and shutters sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build trust with customers
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to provide tailored solutions
• Attention to detail and the ability to take accurate measurements
• Proficiency in using sales tools and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
• A positive, customer-centric attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service
