Due to continued growth, we are excited to welcome a motivated and experienced Procurement Officer to our team!
About the Role:
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Rocklea facility.
The Procurement Officer will manage purchasing activities, oversee supplier relations, negotiate contracts and pricing, and support strategic sourcing — ensuring procurement processes align with project goals and company standards. This position reports to the Procurement Manger.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure engineering materials, components, and services aligned with project specifications.
Collaborate closely with the estimation and project management teams to understand technical and project requirements.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, negotiate competitive contracts, and manage long-term vendor relationships.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and internal procurement policies.
Monitor delivery schedules, expedite orders where necessary, and ensure timely supply to meet project deadlines.
Analyze cost structures and market trends to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including technical documentation and compliance certifications.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain efficiency and cost control.
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in procurement within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
Strong skills in Purchase Orders, Procurement Systems, and Contract Negotiation.
Highly developed analytical abilities and market insight.
Proven experience in purchasing and vendor management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in procurement processes.
Solid knowledge of supply chain management principles.
