Responsibilities of the role:

As a sales representative, your role will involve:

Discerning customer needs, demonstrating relevant products, selling the key features of those products, and closing the sale.

Creating and managing a regular call cycle with schools and libraries in the area, establishing and nurturing customer relationships.

Updating and maintaining contact lists with relevant details using Hubspot CRM.

Implementing marketing strategies.

Providing customer support and training.

Selection criteria:

While experience in direct sales in the education industry is highly regarded, we also welcome candidates who have knowledge of curriculum and educational resources as a former educator or a former librarian looking to transition into sales.

The following criteria will be considered:

Eligibility for permanent, full-time work in Australia.

2-3 years of successful direct sales experience and/or experience in the education or library sector.

Experience working independently remotely as well as part of a team.

Demonstrated strong customer service skills.

Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with a variety of audiences.

Ability to sell and close sales.

Proficiency in conducting virtual meetings via Zoom/Microsoft Teams and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) at an intermediate level and experience working with a CRM system.
