We’re a boutique, award-winning property management team dedicated to curating unforgettable stays across the NSW South Coast. As we grow, we’re seeking a casual Property Caretaker to be the local face of hospitality at Barranca.

💼 The Role

This is a hands-on, independent role ideal for someone who loves beautiful spaces, guest connection, and farm life. You’ll be entrusted with delivering thoughtful service that goes above and beyond for our guests, while ensuring the villas and surrounds are impeccably presented.

Your responsibilities will include:

Greeting guests on arrival, introducing them to the property and experience offerings

Hosting the morning farm animal experience (including preparing feed and guiding guests)

Preparing and resetting villas for guest arrivals (fireplaces, BBQs, outdoor areas)

Light property maintenance and spot-checking housekeeping

Providing occasional creek transfers and setting up simple guest experiences

Being on-hand to troubleshoot or assist with guest requests during your shift

Occasional overnight stays at the property when the live-in caretaker is offsite

You’ll work in conjunction with the live-in caretaker and be supported by Supercalla’s broader team.

🌿 About You

You’re someone who genuinely enjoys caring for people and creating a sense of welcome. You’re warm, reliable, and detail-oriented, and feel just as comfortable around luxury accommodation as you do around farm animals.

Must-haves:

Previous guest experience

Able to work independently with a sense of ownership

Comfortable being around and assisting with farm animals

Available for 2 full days per week

Willingness to stay overnight occasionally when needed

Nice-to-haves:

Experience working in luxury lodges or boutique accommodation

Animal care or farm experience
