About the role:

Dispense Direct continues to grow rapidly in the exciting plant-based medicine space and we are seeking to appoint a Pharmacist who is excited to join the medical cannabis community. In the role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:

Provide the highest standard of customer service to our patients over the phone, with a focus on education, transparency and safety.

Dispensing specialised medical cannabis prescriptions.

Verifying patient prescriptions in accordance with Federal SAS-B and Authorised Prescriber documentation, and any relevant State approvals.

Work closely with clinic partners, and maintain relationships with doctors, nurses and practice managers.

Work with all medical science liaisons from key brands to assist with educating patients on their products.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical research in key therapeutic areas and medical cannabis products.

Packing patient orders for daily collection.

Inventory and S8 stock management.

Lead by example and demonstrate knowledge and understanding of loss prevention, security and OH&S.

Full-time role, flexible hours.

Monday to Friday

9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Candidate requirements:

Bachelor of Pharmacy

APHRA registration to practice as a Pharmacist (with no restrictions) in Australia

Experience working as a Pharmacist and/or Pharmacy manager in a fast-paced environment

Experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy

New pharmacy graduates are welcome to apply

Experience with medicinal cannabis products will be highly regarded

Proficiency with Z Software is viewed favorably
