Australian Electrical Industries (AEI) is a southeast based electrical contracting business who service large Retail, Healthcare, Education and Government clients including Correctional Facilities and Defence Sites throughout Victoria.

We are seeking an electrician who has a versatile skill set suited to a service and maintenance-based role.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate previous experience in similar roles completing electrical maintenance and compliance works as well as have a strong background in problem solving and fault finding.

Example Work Order Tasks:

• RCD Testing
• Thermal Imaging
• MSB and Distribution board Inspection
• Internal, External and Carpark Lighting Inspections and Replacements
• Exit and Emergency Lighting Testing and Replacements
• Fault Finding and Adhoc repairs
• Minor Installations
• Assist on larger projects if required
  

About You

• Minimum 2 years experience as a qualified electrician
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn
• Flexibility to be on call and work away from home when required (with full allowances)
• Ability to work autonomously or with others
• Strong knowledge of service work and technical background
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures and standards
• Thorough understanding of AS/NZS :3000 2018
