About the role

Eclectic Tastes' is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our vibrant team in Ballarat, VIC. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality coffee and beverage offerings to our diverse clientele.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving a range of specialty coffee, tea and other beverages to customers
• Ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of food and drink orders
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including equipment and glassware
• Providing friendly and helpful customer service to create a positive dining experience
• Assisting with general food service tasks, such as food preparation and restocking as needed
• Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards
• Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting your colleagues

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Experience with large volumes of coffee and a fast paced environment.
• Ability to set the grind and maintain during a fast paced service
• Proven ability to prepare high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering excellence
• Flexibility across the 7 day roster
