Play a key role in shaping the quality, growth and capability of Australia’s artisan bakery sector.

Kialla Pure Foods is seeking a motivated and experienced Bakery Technical & Sales Specialist to support our growing network of bakery customers across metro and regional NSW, with occasional interstate travel. Based in Sydney, this flexible role can be structured as a consultant, part-time or full-time position depending on your circumstances.

You’ll also help to develop product training resources and bakery marketing tools and identify new customer opportunities that align with our strategic business plans. Operating independently from head office, you’ll be supported by a professional, values-led team that is committed to long-term partnerships and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver in-bakery product training, troubleshooting and technical support

• Ensure quality and consistency in the execution of our flours across sites

• Develop practical bakery training tools and customer-facing resources

• Maximize sales opportunities by identifying new prospects and supporting growth

• Build trusted relationships with bakery owners, managers and teams

• Act as a brand ambassador, bringing our values to life across the bakery channel

• Operate independently in-region, with support from our commercial and technical teams

Who We’re Looking For

• Bakery qualification or experience in the baking industry (artisan or commercial)

• Excellent business disciplines and experience managing customers and projects

• Strong communicator, confident across all levels – from frontline to leadership

• A proven team player, able to work across functions and build trust

• Sound IT skills, particularly in Excel and shared systems

• A deep appreciation of the organic agricultural landscape and regenerative food systems

• Self-directed and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership

• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within NSW and interstate as required
