Belkirk is proud to partner exclusively with a leading Melbourne developer in the search for a Senior Development Manager to join their high-performing team.
With a strong pipeline of acquired sites across inner Melbourne, this apartment developer seeks a talented Senior DM who thrives in the front end of development — taking projects from feasibility through acquisitions, design management, stakeholder engagement, and town planning to delivery and defects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects from site acquisition through to construction commencement
• Manage feasibilities, risk assessments, and due diligence processes
• Oversee design development and consultant coordination
• Navigate town planning processes and stakeholder negotiations
• Provide strategic input on project positioning, vision, and execution plans
• Collaborate closely with the Director, JV partners, and external consultants

The Foundation For Success -

• Recent apartment delivery experience here in Victoria
• A strong background in project management and front-end development
• Experience leading projects through early phases, including feasibility, planning, and design
• Commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Previous experience across residential, commercial, or apartment projects
• A minimum of 5–8 years experience in property development or project management
• Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Architecture, or related fields
