The Opportunity:

Dankav Developments is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-rise residential and mixed-use projects (10+ stories), from conception to completion. This is a permanent full-time role for a strategic leader with Tier 1 construction experience preferred and a strong track record in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and direct high-rise construction projects (10+ stories) from conception to completion.

Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and OH&S standards.

Oversee quality assurance and safety inspections, ensuring best practices are followed.

Provide technical construction expertise on procurement, tenders, cost estimates, and contract negotiations.

Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure seamless execution.

Manage project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring cost-effective delivery.

Maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships, negotiating favorable contracts.

Coordinate and allocate labour resources, ensuring optimal workforce efficiency.

Monitor and report daily work progress, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions.

Lead, mentor, and develop construction teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

Ensure contractual obligations are met and liaise effectively with stakeholders.

Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance project efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum 10+ years' experience in construction management, with at least 5 completed high-rise towers (10+ stories).

Proven Tier 1 builder experience is preferred

Proven ability to deliver high-rise residential/commercial projects from conception to completion, on time and within budget.

Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Relevant Construction Management qualification and a current QLD Builder’s/Supervisor’s License.

Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).

Strong analytical, risk management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and drive project efficiencies.
